Monterey Peninsula Community College District reaches tentative agreement for two-year faculty contract
The Monterey Peninsula Community College District (the District) is pleased to announce that, on November 5th, representatives for the District and for the Monterey Peninsula College Teachers Association (faculty union) negotiated a tentative agreement for a new contract for the 2017-18 and 2018-19.

Get prepared!
Throughout the world, there are one "great" (magnitude 8.0 or more), 18 "major" (7.0-7.9), 120 "large" (6.0-6.9) and 1,000 "moderate" (5.0-5.9) earthquakes in an average year. Each year, California generally gets two or three earthquakes large enough to cause moderate damage to structures (magnitude 5.5 and higher). Lobos Track & Field Teams Shine at Coast Conference
Track & Field season is coming to a close with the Coast Conference Championship meets at both Hartnell and MPC. Both men's and women's teams were successful as each team improved their point total from the previous season. The women's team for the second year in a row placed 3rd overall and the men's team placed 7th.
