Articulation
Articulation is the formal process through which agreements are developed between institutions allowing courses taken at one institution to be accepted in lieu of course requirements at another institution. By successfully completing articulated course at MPC you can be assured that your courses will fulfill requirements at transfer institutions with which they are articulated.
Articulation agreements may take the form of course-to-course articulation, lower division major preparation, and general education requirements. Courses may also be approved for transfer as elective units.
Monterey Peninsula College participates in the statewide articulation process. In California, Project ASSIST keeps tract of all existing articulation between California community colleges and the universities of the CSU and UC systems.
