If you are a new student at MPC, you must complete Orientation! 

Starting college can be confusing, so here at MPC we've created Orientation opportunities to guide and introduce you to resources available on campus. Orientation allows you access to all of the essential information that you need as a new student and will help you get started on the path to a successful college career! Orientation is a mandatory requirement for priority registration that can be fulfilled one of three ways:

These Orientation opportunities provide new students with information and knowledge to explore academic success strategies as well as offer new students a sense of connection to the institution and the community. Orientation seeks to promote student success by facilitating a smooth transition to college, connecting new students to campus programs and resources, and preparing students for the institution's educational opportunities, services, and student responsibilities.

In order to establish and maintain priority registration, new students must complete one of the Orientation options. Remember, you must apply for admission and obtain your student ID prior to completing Orientation. Please visit the Orientation Exemption Page if you think you may be exempt.
