Celebrate and Learn About Kwanzaa
Kwanzaa, December 26 - January 1, is an annual celebration of African American Culture. To celebrate, MPC's A2MEND charter released a recording each day to introduce the seven principles of Kwanzaa.

A²MEND Student Charter
MPC's African American Male Education Network Development (A²MEND) student charter seeks to provide and promote an affirming environment for African American male students and other men of color that improves academic success and develops culturally competent servant student leaders. Our A²MEND charter offers support, guidance, professional development, and networking opportunities for A²MEND members through our educational, cultural, social, and intellectual programs, promoting positivity and brotherhood.

Umoja Paint Night
On February 25, 2022, UMOJA, A2MEND and the Black Student Union hosted a Black History Month Paint Night. MPC students, faculty, and staff met with art instructor Jonathan Wolf who guided them to use their artistic skills to portray empowerment through art!
