Bookstore

Monterey Peninsula College bookstore is operated by Follett Higher Education Group out of MPC's Student Center, 980 Fremont Street, Monterey, CA.  The bookstore is open from 8:00am - 4:30pm (Monday-Thursday), and 8:00am - 1:00pm on Friday.  Click here for additional contact information.

Food Services

The cafeteria in the Student Center offers a full grill and made-to-order sandwiches. 

Additional food services are available:

• “Snack Shack” located in the Social Sciences Building.
  Monday through Thursday (7:30am to 1pm) and from Friday (7:30am to 12:00pm)
• “Food for Thought Lounge” located in the Library and Technology Center 
  Monday through Thursday (7:30am to 7:30pm) and Friday (7:30am to 1:30pm)

Homemade salads and fresh sandwiches (made daily) are available in all locations.  Special coffee drinks can be purchased in the cafeteria and Food for Thought Lounge.  Delectable desserts are provided from local bakeries and hot pizza is available in the Food for Thought Lounge most days as well.

Library

The MPC library features materials available for loan, bulletin boards for display, computers, course reserves, study rooms, printing, photocopying and Wi-Fi access. The library also has various size rooms for internal use and public rental; those rooms include, The College Lounge, various conference rooms, The Caroline Page Garden, Sam Kara Room, and  multiple "smart" classrooms.
