At MPC, every student’s academic journey is valued and every student success is celebrated.  Whether you are joining us directly from high school or later in life, you will find we have an excellent selection of academic majors and programs leading to degrees and certificates.

MPC is well known for programs in STEM – Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.  Our outstanding Nursing program has been established in close collaboration with the Community Hospital of Monterey Peninsula (CHOMP). Our Business, Hospitality and Nursing programs have developed close partnerships with CSU Monterey Bay enabling students to transfer seamlessly. Our Early Childhood Education program has a model lab school on campus to put your learning into practice.  We offer high tech along with “high touch” in programs such as Automotive Technology, Dental Assisting, Medical Assisting to name a few. We teach a variety of languages including English, Spanish, Japanese, and French.

In addition to our beautiful Monterey campus located on 90 acres, we have two excellent facilities in Fort Ord to serve the residents in north Monterey County.  The Education Center at Marina offers an excellent selection of courses in General Education, Medical Assisting, Business, Phlebotomy, and Pharmacy Technology.  The Public Safety Training Center in Seaside offers courses in Fire Technology, Law Enforcement, Administration of Justice, and Emergency Management Services.  We also offer almost all our courses online in fully online or in hybrid formats.
