Undocumented Resource Center
Welcome!
The Monterey Peninsula College Undocumented Resource Center is committed to supporting undocumented students and those that come from mixed-status households by connecting them to campus support programs or community services.
Our goal at the URC is to support the undocumented community by providing caring, personalized services that enable students to reach their highest potential. The center fosters a supportive and inclusive campus community, which is essential to the growth of all students regardless of their immigration status.
Mission
The Undocumented Resource Center is a component of the Student Equity and Achievement program at Monterey Peninsula College. The URC provides guidance and support to AB540, undocumented, DACAmented students to achieve academic excellence. Through partnerships and campus allies, the center practices a holistic, multicultural and solution-focused approach to help students develop self-agency while empowering a sense of belonging. The center’s mission is to advocate for educational equity and foster an inclusive campus environment to promote the advancement of undocumented students in higher education.
