Federal Work-Study (FWS)

The FWS program provides employment positions for undergraduate students who demonstrate financial need. Please review the instructions below on how to apply for the FWS program.  To remain eligible for a Federal Work-Study (FWS), students must maintain general eligibility criteria. Criteria will be listed on each job description. 

1. Complete your 2024/2025 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

2. Complete the Student Job Request Form. This form will declare your interest in the Federal Work-Study Program and student job opportunities on campus. 

3.  Wait 1-3 business days for an email from the financial aid office regarding your eligibility for the Federal Work-Study Program. 

4. If eligible for the program please contact Lien Nguyen at lnguyen@mpc.edu to schedule an orientation. Please complete the Employment Packet before orientation and email it to lnguyen@mpc.edu. Lien will review available student job opportunities with you and support you in applying for the positions.

International Student, will have to follow a different process for Jobs that don't require Federal Work Study (FWS)
