Career Academy
Career Academy is designed to get you career ready! You will connect your major to your career goals and gain valuable skills to enter the job market. In addition to career support, the career services team will connect you to campus resources and help you stay on track with your academic goals at MPC. Become a well-rounded and confident student by joining Career Academy!

Who Can Apply?Students who meet the criteria below can apply to Career Academy:

Get Started! Apply for Fall 2024!
STEP 1 - Attend an Informational Session
You can schedule a Zoom, phone, in-person session or watch the pre-recorded video. The informational session is important to learn about the program perks and student expectations as a Career Academy participant.
STEP 2 - Submit Career Academy Application
Turn in your Career Academy Application by the priority deadline of Friday, December 15, 2023 by filling out the online application.
STEP 3 - Interview with the Career Academy Team
By mid-April, you will interview with the Career Academy Team. This will be a 15 minute interview that will help us understand if Career Academy is a good fit for you.
STEP 4 - Attend the Official Kick-Off Orientation Event!
The official Kick-Off Orientation Event is taking place in August 2024. This will be the official start of the Career Academy where you'll meeting your program peers and learn more about activities planned for you during the 2024-25 school year.
STEP 5 - Enroll in the Career Academy WORK Course
The course will be guided on Canvas with faculty support and you will earn college units for being part of the academy.
