Black Student Success Week centers on discussions on improving student success among Black and African American students at California Community College.

 

Black Student Success Week 2024

The 2024 theme for Black Student Success week is Building a Better Future Together: The Urgency is Now.  Monterey Peninsula College, through it's Umoja Program, A2MEND Student Charter, and BSU Club is hosting a series of discussions and presentations during the week of April 22-26. These discussions are hosted online and on campus. To participate in online seminar The Black Hour, please pre-register using the links associated with the date for each topic below.

Black Student Success Week 2022

The 2022 theme for Black Student Success week is A Vision for Black Student Success: Creating a New Landscape to Succeed.  Monterey Peninsula College, through it's Umoja Program, A2MEND Student Charter, and BSU Club is hosting a series of discussions and presentations during the week of April 25-29.  Our first two events can be enjoyed virtually by clicking the images or the text below.  The last two events, a student panel and guest speaker are available in person on the Monterey Campus. 

Please be aware that face coverings must be worn indoors in all public spaces at Monterey Peninsula College, regardless of vaccination status.

Black Student Success Week 2021
