At the end of the Summer Academy students have the opportunity to participate in a three day, three night trip down to Southern California where they get to visit several different college campuses like University of California Los Angeles - UCLA, University of Southern California - USC, University of California Santa Barbara — UCSB, California State University Long Beach - CSULB and others.

The most rewarding part of this trip is that students get to stay in the dorms, eat dorm food and experience what it would be like to be in college. Students are able to compare the environments, programs and services at each school, as well as various cities in the Southern California area to help them decide which type of school is best for him/her.
Students also get the opportunity to visit museums and fun places like Universal Studies. The Summer Academy is a nice balance of education and fun.
