Monterey Peninsula College, like most community colleges, does not have on-campus housing (dormitories). We provide the following list as a resource to our students, however, we are unable to secure or provide housing. We encourage our students to secure housing before their arrival in the U.S. Monterey, like many coastal tourist towns, is a high rent area. The average rent for an apartment varies from $900-$1400 per month. For this reason, many students try to get a roommate to share the rent with. In addition, many renters require established credit. It is a good idea to open up a checking account to establish credit.

Below please see the list of resources that offer housing. Please do not offer/send money in advance, until you have seen the place and ready to move in.
