Nourish Together- Community Vegetarian Meal Prep Class 

Course Description:

Are you tired of wondering what to make for dinner? Does cooking feel lonely or burdensome? Struggling to find time to shop and cook during the week? Join our hands-on cooking class to prepare two entrées, a hearty salad, and a grab-and-go snack item, and leave with prepped meals for the week!

All recipes are vegetarian, emphasizing seasonal produce for maximum freshness, flavor, and nutrition. You'll receive all the support, ingredients, and equipment you need—just bring your own food storage containers (4 entrée servings: 4 individual containers or 2 large containers, 2 salad servings + dressing container, and 1 medium to large container for snack items). 

Connect with the community while cooking and enjoying nutritious meals together!

Students will take home:

  • 4-6 meals for the week

Days: Mondays

Time: 6:00 - 9:00 pm

Three Date Options: October 21, November 18, December 2

Zoë is a certified health coach dedicated to promoting wellness through the power of nourishing meals and community connection. With a profound belief that food and community are essential to well-being, Zoë has made cooking for health and happiness a cornerstone of her personal and professional journey. Over the past eight years, she has successfully managed and served as a wellness consultant at an integrative health facility. Zoë loves to combine her passion for nutrition with her commitment to holistic health. 


Granola Bliss: Mix, Bake, Enjoy!

Course Description:

Learn to make this nutritious and delicious treat. Homemade granola has the advantage of allowing you to customize the ingredients so you can reduce the sugar and fat that are the staple of many off the shelf offerings. Come and make this crunchy and delicious breakfast item or snack adding a farm to table connection using locally sourced fruits and nuts. A scrumptious idea for gifting. This class is for those ages 13+.

Instructor Bio

Amy Ferguson has been teaching for 37 years, 31 of those at American international schools in Brazil and Singapore. She is currently a chef at the Monterey Peninsula College Hospitality Culinary Arts Department. Food is a beautiful way to connect us all no matter where we come from or where we are going. She loves that the culinary world has no boundaries and that we are all able to connect and share experiences through the delights of food.
