Select library services are available at the Marina Education Center (MEC) in addition to the full range of services available at the MPC Library on the Monterey campus.

Course Reserves

The Marina Education Center has course items on reserve available each semester. Check-out time varies per item and course. To check-out an item, students need an active MPC library card on file. Students with an active library card on file may use their student identification card or their library card to check-out items. Students are responsible for all items borrowed in their account and can log in to their MPC Lobo account and click on library to view their library account information.

Hotspots

Hotspots are available for student checkout. Currently enrolled MPC students can email or call to check availability. Students may reserve an available Hotspot by filling out the online Hotspot Agreement Form.

MPC Library Card Application

Currently enrolled students can apply online or download and fill out the MPC Library Card Application. Please read the following guidelines before applying.

• To apply for a MPC Library card online, you must be a currently enrolled MPC student (age 18 or older). Students under 18 years of age require a parent or legal guardian signature and must apply in person at the Education Center at Marina or at the MPC Library (Monterey campus).
• Library Card applications are processed the next business day and mailed to the address you have noted on the application.
