The Physics Department offers three levels of courses:

  1. a one-semester, non-mathematical, conceptual physics course that satisfies the general education requirement for a laboratory science.
  2. a two-semester university physics course designed for those majoring in the life sciences and related fields.
  3. a three-semester university physics course designed for majors in engineering and science.

All courses offered by the department are fully transferable to the University of California and California State University systems. Please contact a member of the department to discuss your educational needs.
