The MPC Hospitality Department offers several different degree and certificate options for students interested in a career in hospitality. Hospitality students at MPC can take classes in professional cooking and food preparation, personnel and business management, event planning, and more.

Degrees
The Sustainable Food and Beverage Management program prepares students to work in the food and beverage industry. Students master the management skills necessary to work in both large and small operations, including restaurants, hotels resorts, hospitals, schools, retirement homes, catering and food trucks. The Sustainable Hospitality Management program prepares students for transfer to another institution for advanced study. This program is designed to provide students with a foundation of knowledge to help them become successful leaders within the hospitality industry. Certificates
The Baking and Pastry Arts Certificate of Training is designed to qualify individuals to work in the baking and pastry industry. The Hospitality Entrepreneurship Certificate of Achievement program is designed for students how seek the skills and knowledge required for a hospitality entrepreneurial venture. The Wine Professional Level I and Level II Certficates are designed to prepare students to work and excel in the wine or restaurant industry.
