Committee on Committees
As described in MPC's Academic Senate Bylaws, the Committees Chair is responsible for the recruitment and replacement of faculty appointments to campus standing committees, hiring committees and special task forces.
If you are aware of a faculty position on a committee which is vacant or if you would like to volunteer for a committee, please contact the Committees Chair by email at senateexeccommittee@mpc.edu
Committee recruitments/replacements will be identified based on specific committee needs and faculty members' interests, expertise, availability, and diversity. Openings will be announced via All Users email at least a week prior to presentation of nominees to Academic Senate. Nominees must be forwarded to the Academic Senate for approval. Once approved, appointed faculty and committee chairs will be notified of newly appointed seats by the Committees Chair or the Academic Senate President.

subcommittee to PAG; evaluates previous year's budget (revenue, projections, actuals, etc..), timelines, and processes and reports findings to President's Advisory Group; reviews and/or analyzes budget information, including, but not limited to the following: the Superintendent's/President's planning assumptions, the Governor's budget information, and college enrollment trends over the past few years; reviews and revises the budget as related to the Governor's May revise.
