As a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) you will be trained to provide direct care to patients in long-term care facilities or hospitals. You will learn to take vital signs and prevent infection. This 160-hour program combines 60 hours of classroom instruction with a 100-hour off-site clinical externship.
When you successfully complete the classroom and clinical instruction, you will be eligible for certification as a Nursing Assistant through the California Department of Public Health. This training program is offered through MPC in partnership with The Learning Oasis
