Featuring Soloist: Oscar Yanez

Oscar Yanez, a second-year student at Monterey Peninsula College, began his musical journey in middle school with Youth Music Monterey under Aleksey Klyushnik. Oscar has performed with the California Orchestra Academy, Youth Music Monterey, Ensemble Monterey (as a soloist), and at the Carmel Bach Festival’s Young Artists’ Showcase. He is also an experienced chamber musician, performing works from medieval to modern composers. Oscar is currently pursuing an Associate of Arts degree in English.
