Don't miss the MPC Guest Authors Series' March 26 reading/discussion/book signing featuring National Book Award winning author Joyce Carol Oates. Novelist, poet, playwright, essayist, and more, Joyce Carol Oates is a renowned author in many genres and one of the most prolific writers you're ever likely to read -- or meet.
This Thursday, March 26, the MPC Guest Authors Series welcomes Ms. Oates to the campus Theatre for a 7:00 PM event in which she will read from her work, discuss her writing in an open Question and Answer period, and sign copies of her books.
Advance tickets are still available in the Humanities Division Office, HSS109.
When:
March 26, 2015. Doors will open at 6:15 PM and the event will begin at 7 o'clock.
Where:
Monterey Peninsula College Theatre
Ticket Information:
- Tickets are $20 each. However, current MPC students receive an exclusive 50% discount on advance ticket sales. This discount is for MPC students only and applies only to tickets purchased between now and March 25 (the day before the event).
- All tickets that remain unsold will be available at the event for $20 each.
- Ticket sales are by cash or check only.
