While most of our Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) students declare intentions to transfer from community college to a 4-year university, very few actually move on to a 4-year institution. In fact, in California, only 2% of LatinX CC Students transfer within 2-years, and only 36% of African American students transfer within 6-years. Come to our workshop and learn how to be a transfer advocate in your classroom or program and help students accomplish their transfer goals. Our presenters will present best practices that can be used both in-person and online to promote a transfer culture through your classes.
