Monterey Peninsula College UMOJA and A2MEND are co-sponsoring Seaside's Juneteenth Celebration on June 19, starting at 1:00 pm at Laguna Grande Park

 

Juneteenth celebrates African-American's claim to their rights as citizens, despite all opposition and obstacles. This family-focused, FREE celebration will include programming for the entire family.  It will celebrate freedom, honor Black history, and build community with entertainment, food, music, and speakers. 

UMOJA will be hosting an informational table AND providing on-site support.
