Monterey Peninsula College UMOJA and A2MEND are co-sponsoring the Inaugural Juneteenth Celebration in Monterey County's seat on June 19, 1-4 pm at the Salinas Rodeo Complex, 1034 N. Main St, Salinas, CA 93906

 

Juneteenth celebrates African-American's claim to their rights as citizens, despite all opposition and obstacles. This family-focused, FREE celebration will include programming for the entire family.  It will celebrate freedom and build community through arts, education, and performance. 

UMOJA/A2MEND will be hosting an informational table AND providing on-site support.
