Dr. Christopher Villa
Dr. Christopher Villa has recently served as Campus President at Portland Community College-Rock Creek with an enrollment of approximately 20,000 students. Dr. Villa has also served as Vice President of Student Services at three California Community Colleges, Los Angeles Mission, Fresno City, and Long Beach City, where he played a key role during the initiation of the Long Beach College Promise. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Social Ecology from the University of California, Irvine, a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Southern California, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy from the University of Utah. He has been a part-time faculty in the Educational Leadership and Policy Studies Department at California State University, Northridge and has taught doctoral and masters level courses to practicing California community college administrators, faculty, and staff.
