Friday Forum Featuring Dr. Jean Twenge

Dr. Jean TwengeMPC is pleased to welcome Dr. Jean Twenge for a special President's Forum on Friday, March 6th from 12:00-1:30pm in LF 103.

Join us for an engaging discussion on methods/practices/strategies for how faculty, staff and administration at MPC can best serve, understand, and reach this new generation of students (born after 1995).

Dr. Twenge is a Professor of Psychology from San Diego State University and considered one of the preeminent authorities on generational differences in the United States. She is the author of more than 130 scientific publications and 6 books, including iGen: Why Today’s Super-Connected Kids Are Growing Up Less Rebellious, More Tolerant, Less Happy–and Completely Unprepared for Adulthood. Dr. Twenge brings her recent research about iGen/Generation Z (students born from 1995-2012) to discuss methods/practices/strategies for how faculty, staff, and administration at MPC can best serve, understand, and reach this new generation of students.
