Hit the Books: A STEM-focused Reading Workshop

Speakers: Lesley Stampleman and Linda Hucks

In this workshop, students are introduced to strategies from WestEd's Reading Apprenticeship Program as they cover the following objectives:

Identify specific strategies to overcome reading roadblocks
Practice "think aloud" and metacognitive methods for endurance reading
Utilize the Concept Tracker tool for STEM concept comprehension
