Open College Forum: Dr. Denise King

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Denise King to Monterey Peninsula College as a finalist for the position of Superintendent/President.

Dr. King has had a long and distinguished career in higher education that began in the California community college system (Foothills DeAnza College) and expanded to four other states.  She inspires and works with faculty and staff to improve student success and has helped develop new majors, tirelessly working with business, government, K-12 and universities to enable meaningful and rewarding careers for students in dual enrollment, veterans, traditional and adult students. Of special interest is her development of early college programs, a fully transferrable honors program, and an honors cooperative in Mechatronics.

The College Forum for finalist Dr. Denise King is scheduled for Tuesday, May 21 at 12:45 in Lecture Forum 103. Dr. King will speak to the MPC community, followed by a question and answer dialogue. The public is invited to attend this open forum on MPC's Monterey campus. Dr. King's abbreviated biography is provided below.
