Annual Dual Enrollment Recognition Ceremony
Please join us in celebrating the achievements and progression of our dual enrollment students on Tuesday, May 21 from 5:00-7:00pm in Lecture Forum 103. The event will feature opening remarks from MPC's Dr. Walt Tribley and MPUSD's Dr. PK Diffenbaugh, a keynote address, entertainment, and food.

Mia Castillo
Mia is a soon to be graduate of the University of California, Santa Cruz, with a major in Psychology. Since transferring from Hartnell Community College to UCSC, Mia has devoted her efforts to social psychological research centered around marginalized communities. Mia looks forward to engaging in work that bridges the gap between under-served communities and the resources they need to thrive.
Daniel Diaz
Danial Diaz is an undocumented software engineer working for the California Courts and previously worked for Silicon Valley startups, like Uber. He graduated from California State, Monterey Bay and Hartnell Community College through the CS-in-3 program - a cohort-based learning model to allow students to graduate with a Computer Science degree in 3 years. Daniel works heavily in the intersection of tech and social impact; in particular with projects to empower his fellow immigration community.
