On Wednesday, February 18, novelist Okey Ndibe will read from his acclaimed new book, Foreign Gods, Inc., at 3:00 PM in Lecture Forum 103.
The novel follows the experiences of a Nigerian cab driver who emigrates to the U.S., where he becomes involved in the theft and sale of sacred African artifacts. A discussion and book signing will follow; copies of the author's books will be available for purchase.
Tickets for this Feb. 18 event are $10 and can be purchased at the door beginning at 2:30 PM, or in advance from the Humanities Division Office, HSS109.
