12th Annual MPC President's Address to the Community, April 27, 2018
Monterey Peninsula College and the Monterey Peninsula College Foundation presents the 12th Annual President’s Address to the Community, featuring Dr. Walter Tribley, in a “State of the College” address highlighting the college’s successes and future plans.
The program will include the presentation of the President’s Award to community leaders who have contributed significantly to our community, and who have helped fulfill the college’s mission of providing educational opportunities to everyone we serve. This year's honorees are Mel and Regina Mason.
Both Mel and Regina are alumni of MPC and distinguished members of our Lobo Hall of Fame. As two of the of the most highly respected human and civil rights advocates in our community, they have impacted countless lives through their dedication to social justice and cross-cultural education. Among their significant achievements in serving local youth and their families, Mel and Regina have empowered many young people to pursue a college education at MPC.
