Come to the reception and say hello to Sam!

Before he was elected and during the twenty-five years he was in office, Sam Farr carried a camera with him everywhere, documenting his daily life and work in Washington, D.C. and recording his observations of people around the world. He was always known by the Congress as “the guy with the camera”. He is a passionate photographer with a wide collection of images. 

The exhibit will feature an eclectic array of colorful, intimate, candid images he has gathered while traveling the world in service to California and the United States. Sam will add stories to many of his photos, to bring their meaning, context, and history alive. (Click here to see a preview of the exhibit in this  exhibit photo album)

All the photographs will be for sale, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the MPC Art Gallery. Come see what our Congressman has been up to creatively while representing the people of Districts 17 and 20 (portions of Santa Clara County, Monterey, and Santa Cruz Counties)
