From her days as a New York 1950s wife through her escape to liberation in California and development as an artist, Roz uses thoughtful, self-reflective humor to create and imaginative and enchanting body of work. She pieces together the chapters of her life using hand embroidery, stitching, appliqué, photo transfer, and mixed media on vintage books and clothing. Her charming and witty pieces are “visual storytelling”, documenting family and societal history, and the power these times have had on her life and the lives of many women.
