“¡Nuestro Esfuerzo! ¡Nuestro Futuro!
Our Strength! Our Future!
Please join us in celebrating the special accomplishments of our Graduates and Transfer Students at our annual Latino Recognition Ceremony.
Keynote Address: Paulino Moreno (DACA Coordinator, Santa Cruz Immigration Project)
Performance by: Danza Iztacoalt
Every year, MPC Latino students are recognized for their significant accomplishments in successfully completing Associate Degrees, Certificates of Achievement, and or transferring to a four-year university. The Latino Recognition Ceremony recognizes Latino culture and traditions and honors the student’s families and friends who play a significant role in their educational journey. Many of our Latino graduates come from disadvantaged backgrounds and most are either first generation college students or the first in their family to attend and complete a degree in higher education. Despite the adversity that many face, our students continue to be dedicated to their educational goals and serve as positive role models in their community.
If you are a Latino student and interested in participating in this special event, but did not register online, please contact Kelly Fletes directly at kfletes@mpc.edu or call (831) 646-3051
