As a reminder, PRIORITY Registration is granted to students who complete
Assessment & Placement, Orientation, and have an ED Plan.  

Plan accordingly!

Our guided placement questionnaires for English, English as a Second Language, and math courses are all available online.  If you do not have access to a computer, or if you prefer, you can make an appointment to complete the guided placement tools with our office.

Math Assessment @ Lecture Forum (LF 102) -- TIME AND LOCATION HAS CHANGED

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE TIME AND LOCATION OF THIS ASSESSMENT HAS CHANGED.

The assessment will be held at 3:00 pm in Lecture Forum Room 102.  Please arrive 30 minutes before the test.

Required for placement in the MATH SEQUENCE above Math 360. 
Note: Students may enroll in Math 360 without testing.

The Math Assessment (or Math Placement Test) has FOUR levels to choose from:
45 min timed test: Level 1, 2, and 3 
60 min timed test: Level 4

No Calculators Allowed

DETAILS and PRACTICE TESTS for each level on Math Assessment webpage.  It is recommended that you select the level at which you feel comfortable solving about half the problems correctly.

NO APPOINTMENT REQUIRED: ARRIVE 30 MIN BEFORE TEST

  • Allow 1 hr for Math testing

  • No Late Seating; First Come-First Serve

  • One-Day Parking Permit $2

  • Present ANY valid Photo ID

  • Know your Math Test Level

  • Know your MPC Student ID Number
