The African American Theater Arts Troupe (AATAT) celebrates their 24th season with Ma Rainey's Black Bottom by August Wilson, directed by Don Williams. Set in a recording studio in 1920's Chicago, while awaiting the arrival of Ma Rainey so they can record their blues album, the band members - Cutler, Slow Drag, Toledo and Levee share stories of their experiences with racism, religion, and music. When Ma Rainey finally arrives, conflict that results in a tragedy ensues.
