Submissions of poetry, short fiction, short memoir, novel excerpts, book-length narrative nonfiction excerpts, photography and graphic art are welcome year-round from all MPC students. We look forward to reading your work!

Edited and published by students taking creative writing classes and members of The Creative Writing Club of MPC Creative Writing.

How can I submit my work?

All MPC students are welcome to share work for consideration. Former students in the Creative Writing A.A. Degree and Certificate programs are also welcome to submit their work. Submissions of original poetry, prose, photography and graphic art are accepted year-round

Where can I find Scheherazade?

You can find MPC’s literary magazine in the campus library and the HSS Building and at these local bookstores.
