The English program provides a broad background in the study and practice of the literary
arts and expository writing. With core courses and a wide variety of electives to
choose from, you can transfer into the CSU system to pursue a baccalaureate degree
in English or similar major, as well as in a number of other fields in which clear
communication and critical analysis are essential – including education, human communication,
law, and politics.
