MPC partners with The Academy - South Bay Regional Public Safety Training Consortium.
The Regular Basic Intensive format is a 40-hour (five days per week) program designed for completing the police academy training program in six months. Students in this training program may be currently employed by a California police agency or a California sheriff's office.
Seaside Campus & Field Experience
Courses are held at MPC’s Public Safety Training Center in Seaside.
In addition to foundational coursework, guest speakers, tours, and experiences with
working criminal justice professionals build practical skills in preparation for entering
the workforce.
