plan for academic accommodations.
Types of Accommodations Available
The Accommodation Specialist and Assistive Technology Specialist facilitate academic
accommodations.
In the Classroom
Students can receive help with course materials and classroom instruction content. Methods include:
- Alternate Media
- Assistive Technology
- Notetaking Services
- Ergonomic Equipment & Furniture
- Print Enlargement & Magnifiers
- Braille Services
- Assistive Listening Devices
- Sign Language Interpreters
- Real-time Captioning
Testing Accommodations
A student with a disability may be authorized for test accommodations. Students may receive additional testing time. The ARC Testing Center at MPC provides a distraction-reduced environment for test administration.
