Types of Accommodations Available

The Accommodation Specialist and Assistive Technology Specialist facilitate academic accommodations.

In the Classroom

Students can receive help with course materials and classroom instruction content. Methods include:

  • Assistive Technology
  • Notetaking Services
  • Ergonomic Equipment & Furniture
  • Print Enlargement & Magnifiers
  • Braille Services
  • Assistive Listening Devices
  • Sign Language Interpreters
  • Real-time Captioning

Testing Accommodations

A student with a disability may be authorized for test accommodations. Students may receive additional testing time. The ARC Testing Center at MPC provides a distraction-reduced environment for test administration.
