Transfer Students

If you started college at another school but want to transfer to MPC, you can get credit for the classes you’ve already taken and smoothly resume your program of study.

2. Request Academic Records

MPC needs official transcripts verifying previous college coursework, and/or official AP and/or CLEP test scores, if you plan to apply them:

  • towards certificate or degree requirements
  • to satisfy athletic eligibility

It is your responsibility to request transcripts from the schools you have attended and ask that they be sent directly to MPC. Records may be sent:

  • Via email to transcripts@mpc.edu directly from your prior academic institutions (not forwarded)
  • In person, sealed and unopened, to the Admissions & Records office on the Monterey campus
