Monthly Meetings
Our chapter meets twice monthly in the Nursing building, and is open to students enrolled in nursing courses. View Club Information.
CNSA Mission & Activities
The Monterey Peninsula College CNSA supports nursing education, establishes unity
among our future colleagues and provides opportunities to learn about specialties
and opportunities in the field of nursing.
Our nursing school members cultivate leadership skills through interactive group process
work. Through the association, members broaden their individual vision of the nursing
profession.
Networking and Education
Guest speakers at chapter meetings offer educational sessions about specialty roles and cutting-edge developments in the field.
Community Service
CNSA members engage in community activities such as:
- Assisting runners at the Big Sur International Marathon.
- Mentoring new nursing students with advice and support.
- Organizing health booths for the MPC Health Fair to promote wellness.
Advocating for Nurses
The CNSA is actively involved in the legislative process. Each year we send designated officers (delegates) as representatives of our school to the CNSA State and NSNA National Conventions as advocates of significant issues in today's health care.
