My name is Alyxzandria (Alyx) Doss, I am the Director of Activities for ASMPC. I am also president of PRIDE Pack. My goal this year as a queer disabled person is to support the students in any way that I can, especially considering that these two groups are very under-represented in political and leadership environments. I want to improve accessibility around campus both physically and mentally. I want to reduce and hopefully erase the negative stigma that has been unfortunately placed onto queer people, and have information readily available for anyone willing to learn. I want to be able to create a safe and comfortable learning environment for all at MPC. |
Director of Student Representation
|
Yoshimi Ishii | MPC is a big community of diverse smaller groups rooted in various interests and backgrounds.
ASMPC works to bring people together to create a more cohesive whole. The main purpose
of the SRC is to connect the school and the students and to foster an environment
where the students can level up in their academic and professional pursuits. We are
also tasked by the state to host civic inspiration events. I’m honored to be one of
the change-makers here.

Director of STEM
|
Josue Ortiz | Hi! My name is Josue Ortiz and I’m a returning MPC student. I came back in Fall ‘20 during the pandemic. This choice alone has given me so many opportunities that I would have never thought possible. It gave me an opportunity to intern at the Monterey Bay Aquarium, join the MPC/CSUMB iCARE REU program, and be a part of UCSC’s ACCESS Summer Research Program for two years in a row. Along the way, I met amazing people who helped me grow, and through all the ups and downs, I've found beauty in this journey. |
