Program Overview

Sales and marketing is one of the most popular entry points into a business career, and it can be one of the most lucrative as well. The Sales and Marketing certificate covers marketing demand generation, sales demand fulfillment, and customer service to develop lasting relationships. Successful students gain advantages through learning a core skill set that supports a strong entry into one of the most important professions in business.

Job Outlook

As more businesses enter and compete in the marketplace and use digital techniques to promote their offerings, demand is high for trained professionals to build awareness and drive sales. Graduates are prepared to pursue careers in direct-to-consumer or business-to-business companies, gain sales experience at local independent or chain retailers, and undertake entry-level marketing or customer service roles. Graduates can also undertake further study in marketing, data science, business, and even psychology to further their skills and attain upper-level positions.

Testimonials

Lacey Unamoto

The small class sizes at MPC made the professors seem much more approachable than if they were speaking in a massive lecture hall, and I never felt anxious about asking for help. The professors were passionate about the subject they taught and truly wanted to see their students succeed. They all knew how to make the lectures and material interesting.
