Program Overview

The technology expert is an indispensable individual in any business, and the Business Technology concentration in Business Administration gives students the core skills to fulfill that role in a small company, while earning a 2-year AS degree. Students select the classes that best fit their targeted needs from among online marketing basics, QuickBooks and Microsoft Office, and introductory courses in computer information systems, hardware, networking, and security. Students looking to move directly into the workforce can choose to complete the Business Technology Certificate of Achievement (15 units) in less than a year.

Job Outlook

Graduates have the skills to pursue work in a number of business settings where their technology skills are in demand. Given the widespread usage of email, online applications, digital marketing, and business software, organizations need employees who can resolve everyday technology questions.
